Funding Details

  • 15 hour funding for 2 year olds

    If your child is 2 years and 9 months and you are a working parent you may be eligible for 15 hour funding.

    If you are eligible you must apply for a code and renew the code every 3 months. You must apply by the following dates in order to receive funding:

    Autumn funding by 31st August to start in September

    Spring funding by 31st December to start in January

    Summer Funding by 31st March to start in April

    You must provide this code on the funding forms sent out by your provider. You will also need to include your National Insurance number for your provider to check the code.

    If your child attends another setting you must declare this on the form.

  • 30 hour funding for 3 and 4 year olds

    30 hour funding for 3 and 4 year olds

    If your child is 3 or 4 years old and you are a working parent you maybe eligible for 30 hour funding.

    If you are eligible you must apply for a code and renew the code every 3 months. You must apply by the following dates in order to receive funding:

    Autumn funding by 31st August to start in September

    Spring funding by 31st December to start in January

    Summer Funding by 31st March to start in April

    You must provide this code on the funding forms sent out by your provider. You will also need to include your National Insurance number for your provider to check the code.

  • 15 hour universal funding for 3 and 4 year olds

    All parents, regardless if they are working or not, are eligible for the universal 15 hour funding from the term after your child turns 3 years old.

    For this funding you do not need a code but you do need to complete the funding form sent out by your provider.

    On this form you must declare if your child attends another setting or not and how many hours they are claiming there.

Get help to pay your fees

  • Tax Free Childcare

    You can get help to pay your childcare fees by applying for tax free childcare. For every £8 you pay in, the government will automatically add £2, up to the value of £2,000 per child per year (or £4,000 for disabled children).

    If you are eligible you must first create an online childcare account .Then select your childcare provider and assign them to your account. Next you pay money into your account and then pay your childcare provider. You must reconfirm your details every 3 months.

  • Universal Credit

    Universal Credit

    If you are a working parent and claiming Universal Credit, you could get help with up to 85% of your childcare costs. with Universal Credit, depending on your income.
